Thur Fri fun at the gold room.

Was in Chicago for a weekend and went back to the Gold Room Thurs and Fri nights as its one of my favorite clubs. Im mostly going to describe my Fri night as that was the more interesting of the 2 i was there. Cover is 10 or 15 depending on what time you arrive (i think) I had printed out a free admission pass from thier website for thursday and i had a comp ticket for the Fri event so i didnt end up paying. Valet is mandatory if you bring a car and is 6$ plus tip. There are 3 main guest areas (Bar, Main Stage room, and VIP area.) I was in the VIP area Thur and the Main area Friday.

The VIP area gets you a more exclusive Lap dance area with no bouncer looking on and has its own bar and waitstaff. Downsides of the VIP area are the stage there is mostly unoccupied and the majority of the girls dont get to go there unless you ask for them. The girls they do have up there are good at what they do (mostly)and spend a lot more conversation time with you but push the champaign room hard.

The Friday event i spent in the main stage area. I arrived around 8 when it srarted and they offered free drings and finger food apps for 2 hours. Lap dances for the full night were reduced from 20 to 10. The free drinks were nice and didnt appear to be watered down. I was riding solo and didnt over indulge as that can lead to disaster. The main stage has 2 poles and at peak times of the night has 2 girls dancing at once. Seating is assigned by the managers and bouncers so you cant just sit stage side if you want. Atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. The girls are required to wear dresses or something over thier underwear (probably to give it a more upscale feel). The outfits are sheer or very skimpy so it doesnt really feel you are deprived of much eye candy. Being a friday the place was pretty busy with most of the seats and tables filled and the overflow sent to the bar area. I spent most of the time trying girls out in the lap dance room and fending off the girls that didnt interest me. I did do the Champainge room 2x over 2 days. The lap dance room offers little privacy but has inset booths to get your dances. The dances are topless (not nude) and you cant touch the breasts or their crotch. The quality of dance varries greatly with some girls bearly touching you to very good grinding and contact. Dont expect to LDK here though its not that high contact. For $20 or $10 (Thurs or event nights) its not bad value if you find the right girls.
