I'm in Portland for work for the weekend, and I'd heard good things about Club 205 and The Venue across the street. Thursday evening - I got there at about 10:30 pm. Bouncer did a quick ID check and patdown for weapons, but no cover. The place was packed and only one bartender working, so it took me about 15 minutes to get a $4.25 mixed drink, and then I headed over to the two stages on the far left of the room. The closer one had a dancer entertaining a few guys at the rail, but no one was sitting at the far stage, and the dancer there looked pretty bored, so I took a seat with her, and as soon as I sat down and tossed some dollar bills on the stage she jumped up and came over the rail into my lap.
