Heads up 7Up

Arrived around 2300 on a Thursday. This was a first visit and having read some past reviews I had some idea of what to expect, but I will say the experience of this place far exceeds the expectations. The building itself is huge - up a hill near a shopping center. Hotels, restaurants, and shopping nearby in a busy area south of downtown Charlotte.

The parking lot was massive and was packed. There’s a valet, but I stayed to the left and avoided to save a few bucks and to be able to get back to my car immediately at the end of the night and not have to wait. There’s no need to valet if you don’t want to.

Upon walking in, there’s a large front desk and vestibule. Very friendly staff - $15 cover, ID scan, security just waived me through. When you enter, it’s sensory overload. You’re immediately asked if you want a table. I believe there’s likely a price or minimum associated with this. Being solo, I declined and just said I would catch a seat at the bar. There are two bars. One immediately to your left and another down a few steps in the middle of the floor. The lower bar is better to view the main stage and side stages. The main stage is very large and raised. The video wall with graphics that run make it a Vegas-style experience.
