Up the Creekside without a paddle?

I visited the Creekside two weeks ago while on a trip, and I was pretty blown away by the spaciousness of the club’s interior. It was one of the biggest places I’ve been in, and it seemed alive. There is a really large stage area in the middle with a high pole that can accommodate some crazy tricks, as one dancer was doing.

The strange thing to me was the parade for tips after each set. We patrons are seated at the perimeter in large sofa-like chairs or more traditional chairs and tables, and the dancers will go around the perimeter of the large stage expecting a tip from all. I have no problems tipping, but it was just very interesting how it was done. It was my first encounter of that kind of thing.

As for the private dances: $20 for topless and $40 for nude. The area is actually rather private with what could be described as cubicles for dancing. The bouncer is always in the room and cameras are rolling, so it didn’t seem as private as other places. On the plus side, it was more well lit than any other private dance space I’ve ever been in. I mean, like lit up like your living room. I liked it, but maybe some wouldn’t.
