Visited: Saturday Afternoon

A buddy and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after running errands nearby and found the place to be surprisingly busy for being early in the day (2-3pm) and a pretty small club. As I and others have mentioned, this club has shifted to having much more of a Latin flavor over that past couple years. Finding dancer whose first language is English can be difficult, at least during the day shift. I can't speak to the night shift.

On this day, there were roughly 20 girls working, and moving around in packs of 2-3, or just sitting in the corners hitting their vapes. Most were 6-7s with an occasional 8 and a few heavier 5-6s. There might have been about 15 patrons as well around the bar and two of the three tables on the floor. My friend and I tried to settle at the third table but were quickly greeted by a duo asking if we wanted dances. We begged off ("gracias. no ahora"), trying to explain we wanted to at least get a couple beers and catch up first. Speaking of beers, they are proud of their drinks at Players. A bucket (5) of domestic bottle beers cost $55-no specials.

Over the course of my first two beers I was repeatedly approached by a tall Cuban with huge bolt-ons who I have spent some time with before. I really can't recall her name, but she was all business. First visit was "Hi! You ready for a dance?". "Not yet. Thank you." Next was "You remember me! Let's go! Once dance." "Soon. I want to finish my beer." I absolutely remember her and wasn't sure I was quite prepared yet. But, halfway through my second beer, she bent over my chair, went straight for a lasting Cuban handshake, and said "You finished your other beer. Let's have a dance." OK then.
