I wanted to write a review...
I wanted to write a review of The Body Shop because I really like this club. It is in San Diego, where I live, and it is my favorite local club. The club is easy to spot because of the large Les Girls sign for the place next door. The parking is a little difficult - you park on the street and there aren't that many spots. I like to go during off hours so I can find parking and so the club won't be too crowded. Admission is inexpensive, you buy a lifetime membership card for about $10 and it's good until you lose it. Once inside you are obligated to buy two drinks at inflated prices (~$10). The club has nude dancing and is non-alcoholic (a peculiarity of San Diego). The interior consists of 1 large stage, pool tables. and booths. The place is a little run down, but not at all bad. The women dance continuously, two songs per dancer, with the second song showing it all. The dancers are young, represent all ethnicities, and, in my opinion, are very cute. Some of the dancers are gorgeous, although most are simply in the very good looking range. I think there have been at least 10 dancers there whenever I was there, no matter how off the hour. There is very little dancing, most of the women just walk and crawl around on stage, working the audience. This brings me to one of the things I like about this club. For $10 for the two drinks and 20 or 30 $1 tips you can sit at the stage for an hour and see a lot of beautiful, naked women very inexpensively. The private dances (not nude) range from $15 to $35 dollars and up. $15 gets the dance without touching. $35 allows touching of the dancer. I'm a sucker so I always go $35 or $40 dollars and have been very satisfied, although obviously, individual dancers vary. The second thing I like about the club is that they have the friendliest dancers in town. The women are friendly, talkative and down-to-earth. The dancers all seem to get along well and work to make your visit pleasant. They don't spend all their time working you for every cent you have. Overall, I have consistently enjoyed The Body Shop.
