Nothing Like It Used To Be

Was in town for work and had fond memories of the 'old' Mons - wanted to check it out to see if the current version was as sad as many have claimed. Short answer - yes -- super sad place to visit compared to the old days.

Entrance was easy - cover was $10 ... paid for a bottled water and sat at one of the tables. Within about 30 seconds I was approached by an attractive lady petitioning for a dance - she gave me the general overview of 'suggested' rates. I brushed her off since I had just sat down and hoped for better options to arrive. 30 min later I essentially concluded that things weren't going to dramatically improve so I struck up a conversation with an 'old veteran' and we agreed on a 30 min room for $300 ...

I actually like the idea of the private booths on the sides as it keeps the dances private. My dance was extremely sensual with plenty of 2 way but nothing touching the extras department was offered nor did I bring it up. We both lamented the insane days when the club was wall-to-wall.

Definitely now on my been-there / done-that list and I doubt I'll be returning but it was a fun little trip down nostalgia lane.
