Good Time at Bogart's

I was driving through the Detroit area on my way to somewhere else on a Monday afternoon and made quick stops at Henry VIII and Bogart’s.

After a brief visit to Henry VIII, I headed to Bogart’s and used the pass I got at H8 that let me skip the $5 cover. Visited from 3:15-4:00 pm. Free parking, no security or ID check; bottled water (my drink of choice) was $10 at the bar. Seating is available at the bar and at tables scattered around the room. There was a DJ who announced the next dancer, but was otherwise unobtrusive. The music I heard was an eclectic mix of rock, rap, metal and country.

I counted one bar and three stages, all with poles. While I was there, only one stage was in use and had dancers on stage continuously. There were only 5 dancers working – three white and two AA. Dances are done in individual private rooms; I’m not sure how many there are, but they vary in size. There is a one-time $10 charge for a wristband that gives you all-day/night access to the lap dance rooms. Like H8, they have $10 dances all day one day a week (H8 is Monday, Bogart’s is Tuesday); regular nude dances are $20 per song.
