Mixed feelings about this place

Leather and Lace Southend
2101 South Blvd Charlotte, NC 28203
I recently visited leather & lace, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. In short, it was "alright," but there were both highlights and notable drawbacks. First, let's talk about the positives. The lighting in the club was excellent, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The overall ambiance was relaxed, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the evening. The girls were undeniably attractive, and many were friendly and approachable, which added to the charm of the place. The prices for dances were quite affordable, and despite the cost, the dances I received were intimate and well-performed, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the club itself seemed a bit rough around the edges. One of the most noticeable issues was the volume of the music. While a lively soundtrack is essential for a good time, the music here was excessively loud for the size of the venue. It was difficult to hold a conversation without shouting, which detracted from the overall experience. Another significant downside was the management and organization of the club. During what should have been prime time, there was a 20-minute period with no dancers on stage. It felt like an eternity, especially since there were plenty of girls available who could have rotated in and out. When one dancer finally did take the stage, she performed for at least 10 consecutive songs. While she was talented, this lengthy solo performance seemed unnecessary and poorly managed given the number of dancers present. The VIP room was particularly disappointing. It was small, with only four chairs arranged side by side, offering no real privacy. The only separation from the main floor was a see-through curtain, making it impossible to enjoy a private dance without feeling exposed. Furthermore, the presence of a bouncer standing right outside the private dance area made it clear that any "extras" were out of the question with this setup. Additionally, the club's layout and cleanliness left something to be desired. The seating arrangements were somewhat haphazard, and the overall decor looked a bit dated. There were also moments when the staff seemed disinterested or slow to respond, which affected the service quality. Parking was limited, adding to the inconveniences of the visit. To top it off, the drinks were quite nasty, which was disappointing given the price. On the flip side, if you're looking for a casual spot to relax, see some good looking dancers, and perhaps have a conversation, this place might suit your needs. The girls were generally amiable, and there were opportunities to chat and interact in a laid-back setting. In conclusion, while L&L has its merits, it falls short of providing a truly upscale experience. The potential is there, but improvements in management, organization, and overall ambiance are needed to elevate it to the next level. For a quick, casual night out, it's a decent choice, but for those seeking a more polished and high-end experience, I would recommend exploring other options first.
