The Millstream is for Regulars
My last visit to the Millstream was in early May, so not much has changed since then. I arrived about 5pm on Friday and stayed for two hours. No cover. Draft Yuengling for $9 and a gin and tonic for $12. The place was pretty dead when I arrived, despite the Friday buffet.
As expected from recent visits, the Millstream is a place for regulars. At least during the afternoon and early evening. Most of the dancers were camped out at the tables, sometimes in pairs, with a regular. Quick convos during their tip walks, and then back to the regulars. Occasional trips back to the rooms, but not much circulation. I had hoped to spend some time with Rachel since I had enjoyed her company and dances before, but she was not budging. And she seemed to be the third wheel at her table also. Oh well. I guess I am not that memorable. And I don't visit often enough to enjoy the perks of being a regular.
I will also add that the overall talent was not that great on this visit. Not terrible, but I've seen better there in the past. Riley was there and is one of the top daytime girls, but she appeared to be back in the rooms much of the time. Also, the club had many empty-stage songs between dancer sets. I am not a fan of that at all. Unless the girls are circulating, you just have to watch the TVs or play with your phone.
