Why God Why

So after not being here for quite some time, I decided to visit after my flight landed. It had been a couple of years. There have been a number of changes.

First, the cover was $30. I don't know if that was a recent change, but I thought it was on the high side. Whatever, Flight Club, right? I walk in and see mostly 6s and 7s with one 8 and one 9 sprinkled in. Place is kind of dead for a Saturday night, it is not packed at all. Maybe 2/3 full. One thing that they did change, it is now completely non smoking. Vaping is okay but cigarettes are out.

So I unfortunately proceed to get drunk on expensive gin and tonics, and I'm not thinking clearly. I managed to reject a blonde 6 earlier, but as the time went on and I got more drunk, another blonde, not the 9, but a 7 manages to engage me. We banter for about five minutes about my past experiences here before she says she can help me "remember what this place was like." I stupidly follow her to the back. VIP fee is $25 plus I tipped the bouncer $20 so not to be disturbed. Again, this is also new for me.
