Candi's hits the spot

Decided to visit Candi's on a Thursday. I figured it would be busy enough, but not overrun. It's an easy location at Statesville and I-85, with a well lit, but small, parking lot

I roll in the front door and the bouncer checks ID and frisks. Ok, no problem. They have dress code rules, one of which is no bandanas. I told him he's lucky I left my bandana at home. He says I will let you in, but cover is higher. Funny moment exchanged. $20 passed and i'm in the door. Higher than I would like, but I'm ok with it.

I walk in and straight ahead is the bar. To the left is some seating and beyond that is the stage. To the right is a bit of seating and then further to the right is VIP. The club isn't laid out that well, and is small overall which isn't surprising given the size of the building.
