390 Is the Best in Chicago Until Someone Else Can Grab the Throne

I have reviewed this club several times. The layout has not changed. On this day, I arrived in late afternoon and stayed through early evening. There was a drink deal (Modelo, I believe), but I stuck with bud Light... At least until it was time to take shots with the dancers. 390 has a few different types of girls, like most clubs -- those who walk around and try to strike up convos (frequently not the hottest ones), those who wait to be approached (whether due to shyness or ego), and a few hot Cubans who speak zero English. I was approached by several of the first category and politely told them that I was "just chilling." Then an attractive Cuban came by, and I almost took her for a dance, but decided to wait. (I figured that she and her friends would be around for awhile, and wanted to see if there was anyone with whom conversation would flow more easily.) Then a very attractive spinner type, who was just a bit alternative looking but conventionally very pretty came over. Fun convo, and I bought her a drink. We went for dances, and I actually had very high expectations -- vip potential -- until... she lifted up her arm and I saw a big tuft of hair. Turns out she didn't shave her pits! 🤢 After one dance, I was thanked her and told myself to always check armpits before getting a dance. (Probably easier said than done, but seriously folks!) Back at the high top seating, a dancer named Nova came over. She was looking thicker than the last time I saw her and had a pretty lame personality. So, I declined a dance offer. (A few years ago, she was actually on the top of my list of 390 girls I wanted to get a dance from; never did. And now the quality has dropped a bit.) Finally, just when I thought that maybe I'd go hit up the Cubans, I saw an old "friend" whom I hadn't seen in almost a year. She came over, and the shots started flowing. We ended up doing a 30-minute room, which was $300 or $400 to the house (they have a standard price), plus a tip to the bouncer and a tip for the dancer. With this particular dancer, I have a history and the buffet is open so to speak. YMMV, but generally there are always some open-minded ladies at this club; you just have to ask directly before committing to a vip.
