Friendly neighborhood dive bar
No cover even on a weekend night, the club is in a high crime area though so expect to get felt up by the door guy in the evenings. Drinks here are reasonably priced. I paid something like $4.50 for a Coors light and around the same for a red bull, almost $3 less than the club I came from before this stop.
If you're looking for a "classy club" this isn't it. Scarlet Lounge is a low-class dive bar through and through. If you're a blue-collar type you'll feel right at home. Scarlet seems to be a quite a bit less uptight about the rules than most other clubs. I've seen Dancers blacked out drunk here multiple times.
Dancers at this club can be very hit and miss in the looks department. On this Saturday evening there was right around 10 dancers working ranging in looks from "I'll tip more if you put your cloths back on" to "Okay she's alright" to one dancer who was "WTF you're way to hot for this dive. Okay I'll rate the dancers in English now. 2-3 were way to big for my taste. 2-3 weren't great but at least decent enough to watch on stage. 2-3 were right around average for most clubs. Then there was the one. a really hot AA spinner with a beautiful face. She looked like the kind of girl you'd see at Club Rouge (the higher end club in Portland for those who don't know) She must either be new or has gotten kicked out of all the big money clubs or something because she could easily make a lot more at one of those tourist clubs than the local neighborhood dive.
