This was one of those visits where I didn't even finish my beer. And not because a babe dancer finished me first.
I arrived at PO around 730 pm. Bar was crowded - only with PLs, not dancers, which was the problem. Truth is no one took the stage in the 20 minutes I was there. And there were only two girls barside.
I could see in the back two more. Only neither was my kind of attractive. Nor were the two barside. So I decided to cut my losses and take my chances someplace else. It was clear this wasn't going to be my night at the Purple Orchid.
The good news is I paid no cover. That sort of surprised me because I expected to pay $5 after 7 pm. Not this night. My beer was $6.
The bar itself is sort of squarish with the stage inside. Usually, girls do a couple of songs on the stage then circulate around the bar. Not this night. Some of them can be very liberal with hands (theirs and ours). There are a couple of private rooms at $30 a song and one common room at $20. Or at least those were the prices last time I was asked.
