Not much different than just going to a club

I went to LA Grand on a Sunday night around 10p. I've been to Club Fantasy and Starlight a few times times before they shut down but it was my first time here. I was expecting the same and it largely was in terms of set up but the experience was pretty different. When you get to the place you walk upstairs to get to the entrance. It was $25 to get in. Once you walk into the place there is a big lobby with a bar and a couple of pool tables. The girls sit on a long couch towards the back of the room and wait until someone picks them to go to the "couples area". It was kind of awkward with a bunch of dude (mostly senior citizens) hanging around in the lobby. I got a water at the bar and checked out the girls for a little while. There were 5 of them sitting in the main room and they were all looking pretty average with none of them standing out. After 15 minutes I was debating cutting my losses at $30 (entry plus the water) and go home but right as I was about to head out a cute little hispanic chick came back from the couple's area. I decided to give it a try and head back. I scooped up here before someone else jumped in and we headed to the back.

The set up in the couple's area was a little weird. There is the dance floor on the right and on the left a room with mini couches to sit. I went to the dance floor first and there were 6/7 couples lined up against the walls in the room with the center of the room completely empty. It was a weird set up because there was 0 privacy. We're all just in the same medium size open room. As soon as we got to the dance floor, I tried to say something to the girl I picked and that's when she told me she didn't speak english. Not a word.. lol. I danced with her for a bit and decided to check out the sitting area. It was pretty much the same except everyone was sitting. The couches were lines up agains the wall and we were all just facing each other. There were couches in the center of the room as well but none was sitting there. Again there is 0 privacy and the couches were so close to each other I could hear the other couples' conversations clearly. It was like a high school prom except every guys there was 50 or older except me and maybe one other guy. As soon as we sat down the waitress came around and the girl I was with got a coffee and some kind of candy. That was around $10. I tried to use my best spanglish to communicate a little bit but we weren't getting very far. We headed back to the dance floor for a bit since she was actually a good dancer She was grinding and was cool with some touching but nothing crazy. Kind of like what you would do in a club after a few drinks pretty much. After another 10 minutes I decided to call it the day. We went back to the main area and it $40 (the price per hour is $60). I actually forgot to check the time when I took the girl back but 40 minutes sounded about right. It probably was more like 30 minutes but I'm not sure. I tipped her $40 as well. She was cute, had a good attitude and the dancing was cool considering the circumstances.

Overall I really doubt that I will be going back. The quality of the girls were subpar in my opinion but there some cutes chicks in the back. 2 or 3 were actually really cute with very nice bodies but it's probably mission impossible to get them. There is no way they don't have a bunch of regulars lined up and waiting until they free up. To be fair it was Sunday night at 10pm so there is that. On a busier night the quality should be better. The lack of privacy I think makes that place a hard sell but that also could be less of an issue when the place is busier. Either way it's not a lot different than going to a club and finding some chicks to dance with and talk to based on what I've seen. If anything I'll check it out again on a weekend night but that's very unlikely
