Still Dead

I stop by Solid Gold Pompano from time to time, always hoping to see if things pick up. Unfortunately, it always seems to be dead. This most recent visit was at 11 pm on Thursday, which should be a busy time. It was not. There were 5 dancers, and 3 customers, including me.

Solid Gold Pompano is one of the nicest strip club facilities I’ve seen. It is not large, but it was completely renovated just before COVID, and they just recently replaced the upholstery on the chairs and couches. Someone has spent a fortune on the building, if only they could attract some dancers and customers…

There is a well lit, fenced, gated parking lot with plenty of available spaces. There is a valet, but free parking is appx. 30 ft further away. No doorman when I arrived. I paid $20 cover to the girl at the desk and walked in. An older woman met me at the entry and offered to seat me (not sure if she was a dancer or not), but I walked over to the bar to the right. The bar at the opposite end of the dance floor was not open.
