Visited on a recent Tuesday night. The slot where one used to slip the $8 cover in order to gain admission now seems to be gone. One is now allowed inside the locked door before paying. Renovations are now under way and large hanging plastic sheets separate the old area from the new area. There is a new men's room already open as well as a private dance area behind swinging old west saloon doors. There were 7 dancers in the rotation and approximately 20 customers in the 2 hours I was there. The first dance was clothed and the second a modified nude dance with clothes lowered or raised rather than removed ( with the exception of one dancer who did remove all her clothes). The dancers ranged from 5 to 8 in attractiveness, rather good for the customer base. The quality of the dances covered the same range. The dancers use a pair of poles that are about 2 feet apart. The pole work obviously is different than that on a single pole, including an upside down thrusting descent that I appreciated. The dancers still come around to every patron in the house for a tip after their respective sets, but there was also more tipping on stage. A little generosity was well rewarded with personal attention from the dancers, but they only sought tips from those who laid out money and yet danced in front of everyone seated around the stage.

I particularly enjoyed the dancing of Paige, Kelly, Ruby and Shawna.

Reflection stage dances are $20/$30 for 2. These are dances done in the back on a little stage. Couch dances are $30/$50 for two. The dancer I asked said the couch dances were more intimate, but she admitted that there wasn't any contact. She said this was because of cameras all around. Perhaps it was my imagination that there was regret in her voice about the lack of contact.

I enjoyed my visit. I look forward to an expanded club and hope for some real lap dances. There aren't that many nude establishments in the Columbus area and I like the low key atmosphere with no loud DJ. The dancers are friendly, attractive, and interactive on stage as well as nude. It's still Byob (beer was all I saw). What could be a better recipe for success? (Well, they could ban smoking.)
