Not my lunch hour
Flew into Charlotte to meet friends for the NASCAR weekend. I was first into town with a few hours to kill and saw on here and a few other sources that this was one of the better day shifts in Charlotte. This was not the case in my experience.
Small club outside of town - a bit northeast of downtown, but still within the 485 loop. Easy to get to and find. Lots of parking, shares space with a custom-auto business.
I walked in around 2:00. There was a woman sitting outside smoking. She followed me in and took my cover ($10). Warning, there was an ID scan. Went through the main entrance and the same woman slipped through a side door and was now also the bartender. Ordered a mid-shelf vodka-tonic. I think this was $12. Bartender also gave me a laminated sheet with dance options - 1 song $30, 10 min $100, increasing $50 for every 5 minutes after that. I did not see where dances occur, but others have noted it’s a communal room.
