OK Time at Scarlett's during a WP Tour

I visited Scarlett's on a Saturday, late in the afternoon. The parking lot was quite large, paved and fenced and felt very safe, particularly at this time of day. There were not many other cars in the lot and, based on where they were parked, I suspect that dancers, bartenders and other club workers were the majority of those cars.

Upon entry, there was a $20 cover and metal detector. Coming from the entry foyer, the club is not very deep, but extends out a long way to both your left and right. There was only one stage in operation at this hour. There is at least one other longer stage with two poles which is used at busier times. The club is still largely riding on the large buildout done for the Hollywood opening at the turn of the millennium. The black lights and neon upholstry as well as the hard core porn playing on flat screens all around are gone but the basic bones remain, though things are fraying at the edges, literally and figuratively. Things are not falling apart but it's clear that the new owners are just patching up things as needed and not restoring them to their original condition. I'm fine with that, I don't need this place to be Hustler. Now, if only they could find girls to fill it like the ones who were there 20 years ago... I wouldn't complain about that.

On the dancers, there were about a dozen on this day. I have said it before, but I'll remind the readers here that dancers these days are quite a bit heavier than they used to be and that's a shame. None of the dancers at Scarlett's were obese, something I can't say about C'Mowes on the same day but nearly all were about 20# heaver than I'd prefer. The second dancer who came to the stage, though, was a spinner (my type) at about 5'2" and 100# or so. She was a Latina (Venezuelan, I later discovered), late-20s, small B's and very cute. I dropped about $20 on her during her dances and I was the only guy at the stage.
