Love the vibe at DV8, but not much mileage

This is my second time to DV8. I’m only in Oregon briefly every few months, so I’ve been try ing to visit as many clubs as possible. I came back to DV8 because I love the divey vibe. It feels like a Portland strip club and it’s a place you can comfortably enjoy a few beers at the bar without pressure if you’re not trying to partake in any dances.

I wouldn’t say it’s the nicest part of town, but felt safe. The clientele was a mix of young guys and older regulars more interested in the pool and video poker than the girls, all normal and polite.

Girls will come and talk to you, but there’s not constant harassment like some other clubs. The bartender was cute and nice, some girls walking around, others sitting at the bar. There was even a stripper playing pool with regulars, and the stage was never empty with consistent rotations.
