West Philadelphia Playground

While Will Smith spent time shooting b-ball outside of the school in West Philadelphia, when I’m in the area, I like to indulge in a different sort of action: the WOC Wonderland that is LP/OSC

Split into two clubs, the downstairs (La Pearl) has a long bar area, a digital juke on the right wall, a bathroom opposite it, and a private room in the back that doubles as a dancer ready area (when a customer isn’t back there getting his groove on). Entry into both clubs is through LP and costs a 10 spot. Beers are about 5 bucks and so are the dances, though that always depends on the GPS of the dancer in question. Many think they’re worthy of an upcharge to 10 and even beyond that for service that’s pretty common here.

I arrived at about 4:30 PM.

On this particular day, I’d known I was going to have some time on my hands, so I’d popped a Vitamin V in the car and now sat in the furthest seat in the back sipping my bottle and waiting for a dancer to help it kick in. On many days, dancers don’t arrive until just before 6 in order to beat the change in house fee. This was true today, as there were no dancers on when I arrived and it took 20 mins for one to show up. The one who arrived first, D, was in street clothes and decided to work in them. This would normally be a turn-off for me visually, but I knew previous dancers who would tend to offer all the services one could dream of would start out this way, so I shrugged and said sure when she asked to dance. She waited until the song changed over then dropped the street gear entirely revealing some tantalizing slim thickness. She proceeded to give me a solid first song with some minor stick shifting. Once the Vitamin V kicked in, she was happy to let freedom-based adjustments occur. She even provided some assistance and then made sure I was quite thoroughly taken care of over the next two songs. She didn’t request a specific tip afterwards, but I gave her $50 over our songs for her efforts and she was happy enough with that to offer her digits in exchange.
