Minks - not worth your time or money

I am always looking for a good quality club to visit other than the ones that I frequent. I happened to be on the south side of town one evening and saw the sign for Minks. I asked a friend that I was with if he knew of it and he indicated that they had good food, but the girls weren't too hot. Of course I checked TUSCL and saw a really positive review indicating that the girls were "gorgeous" so I got on their web site and filled out the form for free entry.

I happened to be on the south side of town again on the weekend and knew I had to make it a point to stop in to check it out for myself. From the outside, the club looks very impressive and quite large. The parking lot looked pretty full which I thought was a positive. I didn't see any valet parking, so I found a spot and made my way in.

Okay, so red flag alert. Upon entering, I presented the free pass to the door guy. He indicated that they had a special event going on that night and they were not accepting the free pass on this particular. I should have walked out at this point, but thinking there might actually be "gorgeous girls" behind the doors, I agreed to pay the $20 cover charge. He told me to save the pass and use it for $10 cover the next time. Haha! There won't be a next time.
