Unplanned Play Day

The stars aligned. I wasn’t planning on a club day, but my schedule matched up with a dancer’s. And after messaging with a few people on here, club has been on the brain for a while.

The club is located on Aurora. This street in Seattle has had an awful reputation for a long time. But daytime there’s not much to worry about. Like anywhere, if you’re concerned about safety there are things in your control. That’s the same anywhere you go. Don’t leave valuables in plain sight. Lock your car. Common sense. I keep my wallet and car keys in my front pocket almost everywhere I go and usually have my hands on them.

This is a small club. This might be the smallest in the region. Walk in and there’s a long runway down to the cashier spot. The manager actually met me before I got halfway down and gave me the roster rundown. Pay the entry fee; I think it was $11. He lifted the velvet rope and let me in.
