Recent Saturday Night Excursion

When it comes to the Foxy, I’m usually a day shift guy. However, my schedule this week only allowed for a visit on a Saturday night shift. The vibe of the place could not be any more different between the two. Recently, the day shift has been slow, with few dancers on the floor and those that are there being preoccupied with regulars.

This past Saturday I arrive to the club before midnight, but well into the evening. The club is mobbed with people. The bars, both stage areas, and the tables were full. Whereas during the day I find that it to be a true gentleman’s club vibe, at night the club becomes much more like an urban club or nightclub. The music is significantly louder, the clientele skews much younger, and more diverse.

This change can play to your advantage however, many dancers who work weekends say there is little money to be made after 9PM, as a lot of patrons simply hangout in the seating area next to the shower and do not tip stage/buy dances. My strategy has been to somewhat generously stage tip during these visits, and strike up a conversation with a dancer during her set. This has consistently gotten me attention from dancers, and after purchasing a few VIPs with them, they now often seek me out if they are working while I’m there, or will even make a special trip into the club for me.
