sinclair's Review
I went to Danzer's Show Club at 19:15 on a Friday night. There was no cover charge. When I arrived, the club was dead. Dancers didn’t seem to hit the stage until 19:30. A long bar runs along almost the entire right wall. There are two island stages in the middle of the room. Each stage has a single pole. There is a DJ booth on the left wall. Dancers used a jukebox to play music during non-peak hours. A DJ took over the music later in the evening once both stages were put into action around 21:30. The private dance area is in the front left corner of the building to the left of the entrance hallway and security desk. Smoking is permitted inside. Most of the dancers vape. In the men’s washroom, you piss in a cattle trough filled with ice.
Both bottled and tap beer is served at the bar. Sincweiser bottles were $5. Sincweiser drafts in a chilled sixteen ounce mug were $4. I tried the draft beer to save a buck, but it tasted slightly off. I was reminded why I prefer beer out of a bottle straight from the brewery versus beer out of a bar’s tap lines. Bottles of imported beer were $6 each. A glass of Coca-Cola with ice was $3. There are daily specials on shots and cocktails. Fireball shots were $3 the night I visited. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $200 per transaction and a $5 fee per transaction.
Dancers did two song sets on stage, getting topless by the second song. Mileage was good at the stage. A couple dollars warranted tits to the face. The more enterprising dancers would hop off the stage and give you a grind in your stageside chair. Touching dancers on the stage seems to be acceptable. I smacked some asses and slid simoleons into g-strings. Some dancers, but not all, would do a tip walk after getting off of the stage. The uglier dancers seemed to be the ones instituting this strategy, since they would make little to nothing during their stage shows.
