The Post - my go to spot.

I was at Hitching Post last Saturday Evening. I was out drinking prior so I took an uber. Parking lot in front was full but there is usually parking on the side of the building. For me, I usually drink when I am there, so never driving. I have been coming here for 30 years.

There is usually someone at the door, no cover, but to check id's. They don't check mine since I am an old man. There was a good crowd when I entered around 10pm, but I did find a seat at the far end of the bar. It is a horse shape bar with stage down the middle. At the open end of the bar the stage continues almost the hole length of the room. At that end of the stage there are tables that go around the stage. The dancers can dance right up to these tables.

There were about 4 or 5 dancers on stage at a time. After a certain amount of time a new dancer comes on stage and then one gets off working the inner portion of the bar to collect tips. While I love this place, this process is relentless, so when you tip a few dollars to every dancer that approaches you, this can add up quickly. I do not mind this. I expect it here at the Post so I am prepared.
