A good place to start in NY

I was in town for the week on a work trip and wanted to spend the Thursday afternoon in good company. I chose Flashdancers downtown due to Google reviews and proximity.

I arrived before 7pm, wearing a short sleeved shirt and soft jeans. The bouncer let me in without a second glance. I was met at check in by a lady in lingerie who welcomed me pleasantly and charged me $10 cover. The place has muted lighting but enough to see faces clearly and has two areas, the first with a long bar to the left and a pole and some lounge seating to the right. The second area, behind a semi-private wall are two more poles at the back and much more lounge seating, this is where I was seated and the nice check in lady took my drink order. As I was entering I noticed 3 ladies sitting at the front, with one performer on the pole and one with a customer at the bar. There were two ladies giving semi-private dances to gentlemen in the back area. All the ladies were Caucasian and Latina.

While waiting on my drink I was approached by a Latina who offered me a dance for $20 and also indicated the private rooms are $800 an hour. I politely declined and she made no fuss. My credit card declined which I realise was probably for the best and I paid for everything after with cash. I took two okay dances from another latina dancer before returning to the front and sitting at the bar. I was also approached by an older lady offering neck massages for $15 which I didn't take. The bar didn't have the beers I wanted but I had a great talk with the very pleasant bartender before being approached by a Caucasian dancer who asked if I wanted any lapdances.
