Patterson NJ has my favorite club, who knew??

Arrive at Roxxie’s shortly after midnight on a Thursday. On site parking, I’ve always been able to grab a spot, but there’s also plenty of street parking. The area has always felt safe to me outside the club, so I’m sure parking on the street is not a big deal. There’s a guy sitting in his car (sometimes standing outside it) right by the entrance to the outside “garden area”, but he has never stopped me or even said anything. Walk through the outside hang out space and step up a couple stairs to the club entrance. No pat down, no ID check (maybe I look old enough and non threatening to let go). No cover to come in, ever!

Enter the club and the entire main space is a giant, mostly rectangular bar. Just enough space around the bar that you have to rub up on a dancer if she’s standing there talking to someone (not upset about that…). The upside is you always have a good view of the show happening on the stage in the middle of the bar; the downside is the relentless tip parade that happens here. If you head towards the backside, there’s the communal lap dance room for $20 a song. It fits about 7-8 girls tightly, so be careful you may be touching another dude’s knees while back there. Just to the right of that is a hallway that leads to the bathroom and the private dance area (I think there’s only 2 rooms back there, I’ve had to wait before).

**Trick from me to you - I avoid a lot of the tip parade by walking laps whenever it happens, or stepping outside for a breather, etc. It does not seem to impact my ability to get women to come over and sit by me and ask for dances. Of course, if I want a particular girl, I’ll endure the tips so I can give her one and ask her to come over. I think the most I’ve ever put out for the tip parade in a night is $30.**
