Dead club or bad timing
I got there around 7pm on a Saturday. Parking is in the back. Door is around the right side of the building from there. Odd placing since there’s two doors in the back that don’t open, a door on the left side that enters a dispensary, and a door in front that seems to be a private apartment. No way you’d know or think to go around the right side of the building that seemed to be hidden.
Once I was directed to the right entrance by a woman in the dispensary, it was a very dark entrance. Greeted by a door guy who was friendly enough. No cover at this time. There was one girl dancing and one sitting at the bar. They seemed to be the only two working although I did see one other girl come out from back to talk to the girl at the bar briefly. All three were Latin. Bartender was a 30ish small blond. I ordered an $8 Corona, which is pretty typical LI bar price.
The bar wraps around the stage which sets you back a ways from the entertainment and makes you throw tips across the gap. There were about half a dozen guys at the bar. The girl sitting at the bar, did come over to talk to me for a bit, but having just got there I passed on a dance. An older guy who was obviously a regular since he knew the doorman and the girls came in shortly after and took her for a dance. After she left with him and the other girl got offstage I sat for a bit to finish my beer. There didn’t seem to be anyone else getting onstage anytime soon.
