Dive bar with strippers, not a bad place to hang out

In town for work, decided to head down to the city and check this place out around 9 pm on a Wednesday. Have never been to any other KC establishments. The place is located on the corner, I took an uber from my hotel and it was pretty empty when we drove down the street. Not really sure what the neighborhood is like. I went in and was greeted by a doorman. Paid a $10 cover.

The setup is pretty basic. It feels a lot more like a dive bar with strippers. On the left side when you walk in is a long bar with a couple of bartenders. On the right is a bunch of seating at tables. There is a tiny stage that’s not elevated very much that was being used for the dances. I grabbed a drink - can’t remember the price but it was under $10 - and then sat down near the stage. There were maybe 15 girls working and maybe 10 guys in the entire place. Not a bad ratio. One of the dancers told me it gets packed around 1 am but I wasn’t planning on staying long enough to verify.

The women are friendly, not pushy, and will come by here and there to chat and see if you will buy them a drink. I spotted two fit blondes that I was into but both of them were with what looked like a regular. I sat near the stage and tipped the dancers. They let you touch when they are on stage, but that might vary depending on the dancer’s comfort level. There are no lap dances on the floor, every dance has to be in the back area which is set off from the main area but offers no privacy from the other people that are getting lap dances. One girl approached me and I bought her a drink, we chatted for a while but she wasn’t really my type so I turned down the lap dance. The two blondes I was into spent their entire time with the same guy. One of them finally got up for her stage dance. I tipped pretty well as did a group of guys that had come in after me, but once her set ended she went back to the table with the same guy she was there with the entire night. I figured one hour was long enough to wait for someone to free up and this guy had just ordered another drink so I got out of there.
