Average Penthouse Saturday Night

Decided to try the Penthouse on a Saturday night with some friends. It is located near the center of downtown and pretty easy to find. Parking is available directly in front of the club for $20 if spaces are available or for $10 right across the street in a somewhat secure lot. The cover was $20 (it is free before 7:00 pm) so I was down $40 before taking a seat.

The club is fairly upscale and laid out nicely with a main stage that has a pole that extends to the upper level and side stage with a raised seating area. There are a few vip areas which required bottle service that started in the $300 range. We declined and sat at one of the small tables that are scattered around the main stage. We arrived at around 10:30 and found that only the main stage was going as many dancers were still coming in for their shifts. There were only about 10-12 girls there at 10:30 but I would say there were closer to 20 just after midnight. Several dancers said that the "club doesn't get busy" until midnight and that they time their arrivals around that which seemed odd to me since the last call is at 1:45 and the lights came on right at 2 am. In any case, the dancers were fairly mixed with a few Eastern Europeans, Latinas, A.A's and a really attractive Filipina in the mix. Most were generally attractive but nothing special in my opinion. Nothing below a 6 but also nothing above an 8 as far as I'm concerned.

The tip drill is fairly aggressive but only happens at the bar so you can avoid it by sitting elsewhere. A few girls came to our table to solicit dances but most spoke to regulars or played with their phones at the bar. The options were were given were: a table side dance for $35, a lap dance for $35 (per song) in a semi private booth or a 15 minute dance in the semi private rooms on the upper level for $160. The lap dances were fine overall with mostly decent contact depending on the dancer. The dancers talked up the private rooms as you can imagine but I can report that aside from pretty good contact there is nothing special taking place.
