Overdue for a visit. Still a good spot.

I was expecting it to be slow since I visited in the afternoon after the lunch crowd would have been gone, but before the guys who snuck out of work showed up, but the both the parking lot and the bar were nearly at capacity. That said, every time I’ve been here I’ve been able to find a parking spot and a seat at the bar. The place is dimly lit, but the neon lights provide enough light to locate an open seat at the rectangular bar. If you prefer a table, there’s a section off to the right just when you walk in.

The crowd is fine. Definitely not upscale, but nobody that seems threatening. There an old guy the kisses all the girls on both cheeks as they pass by collecting their tips. The energy of the room always seems fun.

There’s no cover charge. I had liquor. Doubles are $18. If you get dances, it’s $20 a song, and they are long. I don’t know if they play full songs since I was distracted, but it’s definitely longer than the typical SC.
