Club 390 low brow but worth it.

I went to Club 390 2x (Wed and Sat) in a March visit to Chicago. I plan to combine both thise experiances in this review. The club is a bit out of the way to get to. The parking lot is well lit, free and has no valet option. Door fee on both nights was 20$. Sat they had armed security (off duty PD) with pat downs to get in. Wed night is their discount lap dance night. Price is advertised as 10 but its really 20$. 10$ gets you an air dance, 20 for normal dances (non Wed price is 30) so it’s a bit cheaper but not the price on their website.

Layout is a bit unique with 3 stages (main, side/stadium, and VIP. Bar is in back. There are seats around the main stage, a raised area with slot machines with view of the main stage, the VIP section and then 3 rows of tiered theatre style seating with tables overlooking the side dance stage. Lap dance area is down the hall consists of 2 sections of booths with beaded curtains to give the illusion of privacy. I did not try the VIP rooms, so I cant comment on it.

Both night arrived around 10 stayed til 2ish. Wed night was steady with 20+ girls and enough mongers to keep them happy but I wouldn’t call it busy. Sat was absolutely packed with almost no where to sit for a party of 2. Drinks were moderately priced with I think 12 to 15$ cocktails and beer around 8 to 10$. You get change for dollar bills from the bouncers/hosts. The stage show was ok. Not good, not bad but ok. Minimal dance effort provides minimal tipping from most of the mongers but at least there was effort. Some girls got naked some didn’t. Highlight was a bachelor boy who got triple teamed by 3 dancers. Ive seen this done poorly at other clubs but this was very well done. That guy got plenty of milage while everyone was watching. The 2 side stages are kind of afterthoughts where the girls kind of gyrate and get ready to move on to the main stage.
