I visited the Showcase a few...

I visited the Showcase a few weeks back on a Sunday evening and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the club itself and the dancers. The club is larger than it looks from the outside and the picture here at TUSCL. It is fairly clean, though nothing approaching "Gentleman's Club" glitz and glamor. A roomy, somewhat u-shaped main stage at the back of the large room can accommodate two dancers at a time. Each dancer starts out on the left side directly in front of the DJ booth, then rotates to the right side for the next song, and does the third song on the smaller stage back in the middle of the room. Since there is a new dancer rotating in every song, there is always a little variety and the scenery changes quickly enough if you're not really into some of the dancers. Quality of the dancer's appearance was a little scattered, but there were more good lookers than not overall, and a few that were really worth the five bucks to get in the door. I'd estimate 20-25 girls dancing while I was there.

I hadn't planned this visit in advance, so I wasn't prepared to sample a large variety of the dancers in the VIP to see just how far things could go. I did get one dance from a really nice, tall, slender looker who did a decent grind but when she asked if I wanted another didn't seem too open to the suggestion that I was only interested if things heated up a little bit. She was nice enough to introduce me to another dancer who she said might be more what I was looking for, but the other dancer and I didn't really click and she was a little (okay, a lot) chubbier than I'm willing to pay to play with. There was another dancer I had earlier talked to briefly about getting a dance, but I guess she thought since I didn't go for it immediately I wasn't interested. After waiting longer than I usually do in such a circumstance, I was able to get into the VIP with her. Although she did allow a little wandering by my hands and let her own wander as well (per our advance negotiation), it was only once for a very limited duration (maybe ten seconds). Other than that it was pretty much a standard grind except for when she gave a peek (but not a full view) down her thong from a couple of feet away. Unfortunately the very bright black light over her shoulder at the time made it impossible for me to really see what it was she was revealing. Overall I got the impression that the management keeps a tight reign on what happens in the VIP and make the consequences of getting caught violating the rules not worth the risk. In one of the few darker booths with the right girl in the right state of inebriation or with the right connections to the staff on duty at the right time there is enough privacy in the VIP area that a lot more could happen very discreetly, but only if the threat of what may happen when the cameras (mounted high on the walls of the VIP) see some of it is taken out of the mix.

If you are happy to "look but not touch" or pay $22 a song for relatively tame lap dances, this is an ok place to visit on a Sunday evening. If you are looking for a little more than that, you probably need to keep searching or wait until Monday when some of the other Huntsville clubs are open for business.
