Had not been to Subi's in a few years,
Recently, I read a couple positive reviews.
I was in the downriver area. Figured it worth a visit.
The club was always clean and reasonably priced. Just a long way from home.
Subi's is on Northline, just off Fort St. in Southgate.
What a SHOCK!.
The roadbed on Northline is being replaced. An incredible mess!
Rumbled my way across the "missing roadbed" into their lot.
Only 3 other cars in the lot.
Was a bit suprised.... NO Valet came to greet me.
So, I walked in. looked around. Saw a bartender.
There was NO ONE ELSE IN SIGHT!
Music playing. No dancers on stage. Not a patron to be seen.
Turned to the bartender and told him "I'll see you when the road is fixed!"
No doubt, Subi's is feeling the same frustrations.
I had no other choice, Made my departure.
It took several minutes to get a lane on Northline to leave.
Still want to revisit the club. Likely be 2-3 weeks until the roads are OK.
This posting is a "heads up" for a very challenging access to this club.
Likely be much simpler in a few weeks.
