Fun time at Ricks, decent benchmark for the area.
I was visiting Raleigh for work and decided to check out the local scene. One note, I haven't been to a club since Covid so I was kind of caught off guard on lap dance prices ($50/song). Rick's was the closest to where I was staying so I headed out there around 7pm. From a patron perspective it was pretty empty, maybe 5-7 of us there all spread out. There were a lot more dancers than I expected lounging around, probably 8-12 with more coming in as the night shift came on.
Generally, I like the early evening so I can talk to the dancers and get to know if there's a connection to heighten the experience. They had a great variety of ladies which is a huge plus in my book. I had a couple of dancer come over to talk which lead to dances which are held in a backroom area, consistent rate of $50/song. I don't know if this is the normal price for dances these days but may precovid I remember it being $30/song at my local upscale place in Dallas (probably higher there now too, oh well).
I had an electric connection with one of the more mature dancers and we talked about rooms. $500/30min, $1k/1hr. Honestly, I've never gotten a room before so I have no idea if this is a rip off or a good deal. Regardless, I wanted it. I paid for a half hour and newbie mistake on my part, I should have clarified what extra were going to be provided. I got free range touching as the bonus but... yeah if I knew that going in I would have opped for just opted for dances.
