Thursdays are Better than Wednesdays

Review is based on a few Wednesday and Thursday visits. Recently, I think Thursdays are the best midweek day to go because the overall scene is more energetic, and there are more girls. Wednesdays can be very dead now, before they used to be sometimes pretty good. A lot of my review is similar to what I've said before, because the club hasn't changed that much. Weekend cover charge is now $20 though.

BASICS: McDoogals is a nude club where you can have a cheap night because it is BYOB and has a reasonable cover charge (cover is $8 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, PRICE INCREASE to $20 on Fridays and Saturdays). Bottles of water and mixers (sodas, ice) are available for $4, but if you want to drink anything else, you have to bring it with you. Girls dance 2 songs on stage, and you're expected to tip a buck or two if you're sitting around the bar, and after they dance, the girls walk around the club and you're expected to give them a buck or two even if you're playing pool. So, if you just want a low-key cheap night you can buy a 6-pack and come in to see some girls for a few hours without spending too much. Lap dances are topless for $40 a song, and the VIP rooms are $220 for 15 minutes (not including a tip). The lap dances are not very private and I think $40 is a lot, but at least they play full songs. The VIP is very private, and YMMV, but $220 is a ton of money.

TALENT/DANCERS: As always, this is Baltimore, don't go in there expecting top-end talent, but there are some good-looking dancers here. There seems to be a weird system where some girls just come and hang out with regulars, never going on stage. Bella just got a boob job, they're enormous now, she was probably one of the prettiest before so that's a positive. Rio and Aileen are also there most nights, both of these two give good energetic dances and are worth it. Most girls got fully nude at their stage show, which is a good thing. Almost all the weeknight dancers are experienced, decent diversity of body types, sizes, races. The bad thing is that there is a lot more begging for tips during the stage dances than there used to be, which can really add up if you're sitting around the rail and is sorta boring to look at.
