Latest trip to EB - OK but got the job done
First time back to Electric Blue since before COVID. The bar itself hasn’t changed substantially in decades - private dance room on the right as you walk in, bar straight ahead on the left, and stage at the far end. From my experience, hardly anybody sits at the stage, but that could be because I’m usually there on an weekday afternoon.
This visit was early on a Thursday afternoon, returning home from a business trip to Boston. No cover charge when I got there. I grabbed a seat at the bar and a $6 bottle of water. I saw maybe 5 girls that seemed to be working. The best looking one was a petite blonde who seemed to be going off-shift. I didn’t have a lot of time and knew I was probably going to take a private dance from the first average looking girl who offered. I was finally approached by a girl who said her name was Brazil (I’m SURE that was her name and not the country she was from). She wasn’t really my type but since I was short on time I accepted her offer for a dance. $20 to the bouncer, $20/dance and $1 for the juke box. Only thing that’s really changed that I remember is the charge for the bouncer (I think it used to be $10).
So we went to the lap-dance room and I took a seat. I think the benches are new and I thought they were a little uncomfortable to sit in as my feet didn’t touch the floor when I sat back in them.
