Dive bar / strip club
I had a few minutes to spare on a Friday afternoon. So I decided to give Coyote Cabaret a try. Let me start out by saying I had very low expectations of this place. Just based on the reputation that it has on the west side of phoenix. I pulled up to the parking lot and the lot was very small. The club is in a strip mall so the parking lot is shared with other businesses. With no place to park that would fit my truck, I had to drive down to a nearby fast food restaurant and walk back. It was not convenient but not the end of the world.
I walked inside and was greeted by the bouncer. He looked at, but did not scan my ID and gave me a light pat down to ensure I didn’t have any weapons. Once my eyes got adjusted to the room. I noticed a room full of regular restaurant style chairs and tables, with a bar on the right side that was connected to the only rather smallish stage.
After I walked up to the bar and ordered a vodka and redbull that came out to 7$. I walked over and sat at one of the tables. I counted 5 patrons, 4 dancers and bar tender in the room. The bar tender and all of the dancers were Cuban. If you are into short thick Cubans this is the place for you.
