Visited: Friday Afternoon

In town for the week and had some time to kill Friday afternoon and saw this new-ish (new to me) club near airport and it's on my way. Decide to check it out - seems their neighbor (Goldroom (GR) is closed until early eve (~5 PM). This place is directly west of GR. Knockouts (KC) custies seem to park on the west side of GR or right in back and it looks like they have some parking to the west of their building. I suspect at 5 PM, parking at GR clears out (or owner of GR is same as KO and doesn't care?). The nicest thing here is no mandatory valet. The entrance is on the street that is between GR and KC. Enter - the building is like the entire color of the outside - black. The steel siding gonna get hot come summertime but it's a great way to cover up defects in the outside of the building. You enter into an outdoor vestibule to find the main door to the place.

Inside the main door and immediately there is a place for host/hostess although none was there. An employee trekked through and I asked if any cover - no. You take a hard right that takes you down a hall. To the right is dancers "locker room" and then bathrooms and to the left is 3-4 spaces to belly up to the side bar. There is a wall that separates the main bar and this side bar. It has some tables and as you walk around, you see the dance stage and hand another left, you get to a main seating area by the bar with tables and an entrance to a gameroom with darts and other such stuff. Not sure as the weather that day was not bad but their is a solid door out to the gameroom which means it may not be well heated or cooled during temp extremes. From this side bar you can see, at best half the dance stage but have some view of a general seating area on the side where restrooms are alos where the DJ hangs out. The DJ hangs out behind the stage (not directly) and he oversees private dance area which is just to the left of DJ room. One dancer clocked out and had to "see" the DJ before departing (and the one I'd have wanted dances from). Dance room is private, if you are the only one there. If not, privacy is somewhat limited.

There were 4 dancers mid-afternoon moving toward the time when the GR opens up. Similar number of customers +/- a couple as time went by. Dancers were all attractive and had nice outfits to boot. A mix of lingerie and bikini. Half were hispanic but a good mix (as much as could be had in a count of 4). Girls did a mix of looking for their regular and chatting up customers. Either the girl did not want to small talk and asked to dance or they were wanting to chat and not be too pushy but use the opportunity to be gifted some tequila shots (or water?) Conversation tended to run around how the place was new and that the club itself is trying to figure things out - "a work in progress". Beers (Modelo, Dos Equis, Tecate, etc) on the expensive side @ $8 where you pay with a $10 and you'll have to beg for change. Did not take of dances due to the very attractive dancer who got away but in talking, girls mentioned $20 a dance and some would do 3/$45 with upfront agreement on 3. Wednesdays are $10, Thursdays $15, and Friday/Saturday they have a happy hour from 5-7 where they are $10.
