Third time's a . . . well . . . it's an adequate experience

3rd visit here. My first was not great. Second better, Was hoping for further improvement with this visit. Well, there's a good amount to like about this place, and some stuff that's not as good.

Like getting to the club is very easy. It's just a bit off I-81 with a big sign out front. There's a tiny parking lot in front, but a lot more parking on the side and back of the place.

Getting in is needlessly intrusive. First you go into a little room with a window, and a guy takes your ID. The window is so dark that you only hear a muffled voice and see hands through the slot. When you get your ID back you're buzzed in and immediately hit a metal detector where you have to empty your pockets and then the guy frisks you, and there's no light-hearted banter with these guys either, so it kills any buzz you might have had going in.
