Uptown Cabaret is an excellent club....

Uptown Cabaret is an excellent club. I have been to many clubs, reviewed many clubs and travelled all over the US to check out the strip club scene. But there is something about this club that keeps bringing me back. (Besides that one particular girl, of course. *grin*)

"UC" is located in downtown Charlotte, literally spitting distance from Bank of America Stadium. Though I have never been there during Football season, I can see how it would be ridiculously popular as a pre-/post- game spot. Just cuz it is so close. The exterior of the building is kinda funny...3 sides of it have been pre-fabbed and look very nice and classy. The fourth side...on the back...is raw brick and junk. It looks like something out of a war zone. I guess they only had the cash for 3 sides.

The staff is, in my experience, exceptional. I have gone 4 nights in a row and had 4 different waitresses and they were all good. The bouncer staff was friendly and helpful. The cover varies but is usually $10 on your first visit (when you get a membership.) My friend recently joined the "Titanium" club which is their premium membership. As such, when I visit with him, there is no cover.
