where I tend to gravitate to when in TJ

Spent a recent Sunday night, Monday day and Tuesday night in TJ. I passed through many clubs including Tropical, HK, La Gloria, Dulce & Gabana, Gold Club, Chicago, and La Carreta. I'll only review a couple where I spent more time.

Tropical is the more chill, sister club of HK. Directly across the street. I've been coming to TJ for 5-7 years around 1-2 times per year. Tropical sells bottled beer for $4 vs. $6 at HK. I am typically at the clubs at off peak times so rarely see the clubs packed which I prefer.

They do typically have a girl dancing on the main stage area. Meseros are aggressive with selling drinks for the girls, just like at HK. No troll in the upstairs bathroom during off peak times which is nice.
