Went to Harry O's on a recent Tuesday night. This club is hard to find, but worth it for those who want to get down and dirty. On this night, the place was half full, a mix of hispanic and black young guys, and a dozen girls, who are also primarily hispanic and black. There is a two section stage and some basic metal chairs. The girls tend to idle there in small groups. A small bar and a pool table occupy the rest of the main room. A very small dance room has about six chairs. Girls rotate dancing on stage and tend to be very appreciative with flashing and touching for a few dollars tip. Other girls wander around looking for guys who look like they have money. If you look at an idle girl and smile at her, you are saying come come on over! I am a natural target because I cant stop smiling. They will cozy up, begin a little rubbing thing, and start the hustle for dances. It can get pretty wild just standing there! Dances in the little room are $20, plus you are asked to tip the bouncer each time you exit the room ($5 or $10). I think that tip buys you privacy. The dances are very close, and there is significant upselling going on. If you want attention, you got it. On the down side, the quality of the girls is fair (4 to 6), runs toward chunky, and english language skills can be good or vitually nonexistant. If this place wasn't so scary, it would rate a 10. But then, you don't usually get nasty and nice in the same place. This is nasty.
