Afternoon visit before going to the airport.

Went to Monroe’s on a Thursday afternoon as I was picking someone up at Palm Beach Airport and had time to kill.

There was a parking lot, but not a lot of cars, so I was debating on whether to even go in. I got to the front door and there was someone to open the door, and I expected to get a cover charge. He just told me to have fun.

When I walked in it was like a ghost town. It was about 2:30, but there were 3 customers, and about 5 dancers working, and none of them were anything I would look twice out down south.

When you walk into the club there is small bar directly to your left. Nobody was there, so I walked right and further in. To you left there is a stage about 1/3 of the way into the club and then some lounge seating. Nobody was sitting there and there was a big bar at the far end of the club. That’s where the 3 customers were so I that’s where I went. I passed some rooms on the right that had beads hanging on the entry that I found out are for lap dances.

I sat at the big bar, and the bartender was definitely the prettiest girl in the room. She was extremely friendly and I ordered a bottled water for $7 and I gave her a $5 tip as I felt bad for her as she certainly wasn’t making money on this afternoon. She told me it was a slow day, and that it gets much busier later when the steak house opens. I had no idea there was more to the club but she told me the back area was a great steak house. I spoke to her for a while as the dancers were not to my liking as they were mostly big girls and that’s just not my thing. She was very pleasant and the club should make sure she stays as her personality is enough make someone stay a while, or to bring someone back for another try.
