Visit Featuring Rhianna

Having just returned from a work trip and arriving back in PHL after midnight, I had an itch that needed scratching, so I decided to indulge in some adult entertainment on Passyunk Avenue before heading home. My first plan was to visit Venus Video, but upon entering and asking about girls, the guy behind the counter practically laughed at me and said the girls leave at 10:00 PM. I turned right around and headed a little further along on Passyunk to Purple Orchid.

The parking lot around the perimeter of the building is pretty limited, but there's a shady strip mall - with an adult shop that seemed to be open - that you can park in, adjacent to the PO lot. The building itself has a huge sign and is basically a big box, but it's among the smaller strip clubs I've patronized over the years.

Upon entering, the white guy behind the counter looked over his reading glasses and asked for a $5 cover. I gave him a $20 bill and he counted out $15 in ones. The bar is basically square, with a stage in the middle. Bathrooms are on the left (reasonably clean for a divey strip club) and just before the bathrooms is a small staircase to the community lap dance room ($20 per song plus tip). To the right inside the door are the private lap dance rooms ($30 per song plus tip). After a bathroom visit, I headed to the far right corner of the bar, which was emptier than usual - though at this point, it was around 12:45 AM. I looked to my left and there was a friendly, taller, slender WOC two seats away, not talking to anyone. I made eye contact and asked if she would like me to scoot over, she said sure.
