Baited and Switched

I used to hit this club up almost weekly but it's been six weeks or so and I only dropped in tonight because I got a text from an old friend who used to work there who said she was going back to test the waters for a return. I was about six blocks from the club when I received another text from her that she's changed her mind and wouldn't be there. Gee, thanks. But I was so close and I had a free pass so I went on in. $10 to park, free pass to get in, spent $10 with tip for a beverage. I also tipped the new guy in the mens' room. They really need someone in that job because none of us are capable to pulling a paper towel out of a dispenser.

The mood in the club was a little chilly. I miss the days when I could go there and see ladies I'd known for a while. But I get the feeling that even if I went in weekly, that wouldn't be the case. The lineup there changes more often than the design of this website.

I settled in to just watch for a while. A lot of ladies came by but none seemed interested in talking or getting to know me. It was "Wanna dance?" and if I didn't say yes immediately, they were gone for good. I thought I saw the name of Aaliyah on the board but I never saw the girl I knew a little by that name. She's a petite spinner with a few tats and the cutest butt in the club. Maybe some smart guy had her in the V.I.P. the whole time I was there. I finally got a few dances from ladies I didn't like enough to remember their names or to keep the phone numbers they each slipped me. I think that's the main reason the club doesn't have loads of dancers like it used to. I think a lot of girls are only working there long enough to collect some phone numbers and pass out theirs so they can quit dancing and eliminate the middle men.
