Finally met the famous Devon

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon when the lineup was supposed to include Devon. So many people on here give her very high marks that I made the trip to see if she is as good as advertised. She was.

The club is in a bright pink building along Rt. 130 south about 3 miles south of I-95. There is a large parking lot which would be more than adequate even if the club was packed. Inside is a large rectangular bar surrounding a large stage with three poles. The waitress collects the $10 cover which also gets you two sodas or waters. No alcohol unless you bring it yourself. There are a couple of dance rooms immediately to the left upon entering and a couple more at the far end of the bar and up several steps. Dances are $30 each and a disembodied voice keeps track of the number of dances (“Room 2, that’s two”).

There were 6-8 patrons and 12-15 dancers when I was there. As described before most of the dancers are older (40+) and it’s rare that you find 20-30 year olds. Looks vary from <5 to 9. I saw a couple 8’s today who I had never seen before, Tatiana and Stormy, although both said they had worked there for quite a while. I’m curious now to know if their dances meet the typical Playhouse standard.
