The remodeling has really helped the flow for folks in this club, and added more VIP booths, including some smaller ones for the 1 or 2 person parties. Splitting the huge stage that was on the lower main floor was smart -- it allowed for more tables on the main floor, better chairs, and two separate stages that let the girls get more attention. The girls continue to be the best part of this club, which is well-managed and has great staff folks for the most part -- as anywhere, you'll find one or two that could do with some customer service training. I came in on a Sunday night (1/14) well after the football games, and the place was fairly empty, though there were still about 10 girls working. The problem with nights like this is that the girls don't seem to circulate much, at least not on the main floor and near the newer VIP booths. But, one of my favorites was there that night, Mei-Ling, an absolutely beautiful Asian with a wonderful personality and a sensuous dance style that I love. I just had to wait awhile for her to get free. On Tuesdays-Saturdays, this club is normally full, with 25 or more girls working, most in the 6-8 range with several 9's. Most are very friendly, low hustle, like to sit down and talk with you before making the dance pitch. I continue to believe YR is the best club in Austin, and I don't miss making a visit whenever I'm in town.
